Our rooms
Pre-school and nursery facilities at Advantage are bright and welcoming to encourage interaction and enhance learning.
Each of our rooms has been individually designed for a specific age group, with furnishings, equipment and toys selected to stimulate and enhance children’s learning at each stage.
All are air-conditioned, spacious and bright with plenty of natural daylight. Nappy changing areas are linked to each room, with children’s toilet facilities for those aged 2 and over. Our baby room has an integrated darkened sleep area and each child has their own wooden cot.
Gardens
We have three beautifully designed gardens, which we use all year-round, in all weather. Each features soft, artificial grass, a large wooden playhouse, ride-on toys, a sandpit, natural resources and plenty of climbing frames to encourage physical development, motor skills and outdoor fun!
Our under 2’s garden allows preschool and under-2s to play safely in their own areas; both parts are sheltered by UV-filtering canopies and the ground is covered with soft, artificial grass. It has tunnels, a water pump to create a river and ‘mountains’ to climb and is also home to our own plants.
Our 2-3s garden is accessible directly from our 2-3’s unit. Aside from the playhouse and climbing frame, the garden is on two levels and features a fabulous slide from the top deck to the bottom garden.
Our roof garden is for our preschool children who can see the views all around and ‘touch the sky’.

Our relaxing sensory room is the ideal wind-down space for babies and beyond, and is especially loved by our children with special needs.
Dimmed lighting, soft surfaces, different textures and music all play their part in this special room. It is both a sanctuary, providing children with essential reflective time as well as an area for calm play and learning.

Each of our rooms contains age-appropriate toys and equipment selected specifically to stimulate children’s development at each stage. Whether it’s a soft toy that provides comfort, a puzzle that develops their problem-solving skills or a dressing-up box that stirs their imagination, there’s something to stimulate all of their senses.
All toys and equipment are brightly arranged in the rooms to delight and entertain as well as educate, and storage boxes with picture labels encourage children to independently search for their own toy and help tidy it away afterwards.

Easily accessible in the centralised area on the ground floor is our mini library, filled with a selection of fiction and non-fiction books to appeal to all ages and enhance our inclusive practice. Responsibility is encouraged as children select books to take home, look after and bring back on time, just like a real library.
Groups are regularly brought in to sit together on the library chairs and read, and there is a soft, cushioned area for story time.
