At Advantage, we want to work together with parents and carers to help support the learning and development of all the children.
Personalised timetable
We offer a variety of options to help you find a timetable of care that works for your family. Care is available on a full-time or part-time basis, between 7:30am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
Special Educational Needs and complex medical needs
We are a local inclusion hub for SEN and work closely with parents and carers of children with complex medical needs to offer options tailored to you and your child’s needs.
Tapestry
We use an online learning journey called Tapestry to share key moments. Tapestry is a lovely way to share both home and Nursery experiences for your child, with both photos and videos. We enjoy seeing what the children do when they’re home and out and about. We share these photos with children at Nursery to encourage communication and conversations. Within a couple of weeks of starting at Nursery you will be set up with your Tapestry account so you can see your child’s Nursery adventures.
A note from our Nursery Manager
I want to extend a warm welcome to parents whose children have joined us at Advantage. This part of the website is an easy way for you to keep up to date with day to day life at the nursery.
Staying in touch with parents is important to us. We want you to feel thoroughly involved in your child’s care and education, which is why you can telephone or drop in whenever you feel like it. In between times, you’ll find lots of useful information posted here on a regular basis, including:
- Our latest newsletter, plus the option to sign up to receive future issues by email
- Dates for your diary, such as parents’ evenings, charity events and shows
- This week’s menu
- Information on early years education and how it is implemented at Advantage
- Advice on parenting issues – from potty training to starting school
Working together as a team means the children get the most out of their time here at Advantage – and we very much consider you part of that team! My door is always open if you ever want to discuss your child’s care and development, and I look forward to catching up with you.
